cum laude, in 1994.Prior to joining Troff, Petzke & Ammeson, Ms. Kaufman worked as a
planning consultant for McKenna Associates in Kalamazoo, as well as an
associate for Bauckham, Sparks, Rolfe, Lohrstorfer & Thall, PC, a
municipal law firm in Kalamazoo. In addition, Ms. Kaufman has also
served as a city planner for the City of
Southfield, as well as for municipalities in
Missouri,
Kentucky and
Virginia.Ms. Kaufman is admitted to the State Bars of Missouri (1995), Kentucky (1997) and Michigan
(2003), the United States Federal Court (2005) and is a member of both
the American Bar Association and the Berrien County Bar Association.
Ms. Kaufman is a member of several professional organizations including
the Michigan Bar Association (Real Property Section; Zoning and Land Use
Committee), Michigan Association of Planning, American Planning
Association and the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). Ms.
Kaufman has also served as an instructor for the MSU Citizen Planner
course, as well as teaching seminars for the Michigan Townships
Association (MTA) and Michigan Association of Planning (MAP).
