Troff, Petzke & Ammeson provides a wide range of real
estate services from the purchase and sale of single family homes to
complex developments. We
have both the ability to explain transactions in a manner that makes
first time buyer/sellers comfortable as well as the experience and
sophistication necessary to bring value to a transaction involving the
most seasoned developers.

The best advice we can give you in regard to buying or selling a
residence is to have us review a purchase agreement before it is signed.
Too often in the excitement of finding a buyer or locating that
perfect house, the parties sign a “boilerplate” agreement that may be
insufficient, not necessarily because of the terms it includes, but
instead because of the issues it does not address.
Identifying and discussing these issues at the beginning of a
transaction greatly improves the chances of a successful closing.
Once the purchase agreement is signed we can assist you in your
due diligence and resolve closing issues as they arise.

All real estate transactions, particularly
commercial real estate transactions, are becoming more and more complex
as the State of Michigan and local municipalities enact laws and
ordinances regarding land use, wetlands, shoreline erosion and the like.
We have extensive experience not only in the interpretation of
these laws and ordinances, but also in the negotiation and drafting of
documents for condominium developments, mixed use developments, golf
course developments and hotel developments that comply with these laws
and ordinances, as well as representing our clients at both the State
and Local level.
Additionally, our clients benefit from the fact we have many years of
experience dealing with property that is in “our backyard” as well as
"our front yard” – Lake Michigan.

In addition to real estate
transactions and developments our attorneys have extensive experience in
contested matters involving State and Federal Agencies as well as
litigation involving third parties.
